40-Year Reunion Information

It’s Time for Us to Get Together & Have Some Fun!

It seems like yesterday that we were attending school at Brookfield Central. Time has flown by and it’s hard to believe that our 40-Year Reunion is only a few months away.

Our class reunion is a great way for all of us to get together, catch up and have fun. In 40 years, a lot has changed in our lives but the friendships we made in high school remain. The reunion will be a great opportunity to reconnect with friends that we’ve lost touch with over the decades and to create new relationships with classmates we may not have had the chance to know while we were in school.

Our reunion celebration will take place over two days: June 28 & 29, 2019. It’s been so long since we’ve seen each other that two days of fun may not be enough! We’ve got several activities already set and others still in the works. We think this will be a truly memorable celebration.

Registration is open. Your ticket(s) must be purchased by May 31, 2019. There will be no tickets sold at the door. Paying early provides us with the cash flow needed to cover the expenses for the food, resources and other items needed for reunion activities. We hope you make the decision soon to attend.

Our past reunions have had a great turnout. We expect our 40-Year Reunion will be the best attended ever. Please mark your calendar today, and plan to join us all in celebrating friendships, good times and our lives.

We’re looking forward to you joining us!

Saturday, June 29 – Activities

Take a tour of Brookfield Central lead by Pete Wysocki. The old school doesn’t look anything like it did when we were there. It’s gone through several renovations in the last 40 years including the addition of a new varsity gym and front lobby. Mr. Wysocki has been there for nearly the entire time so there’s no better guide to take us through the school to show us our old haunts and some of the places where he used to catch classmates where they shouldn’t have been. Our tour is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29th. We’ll meet at the front entrance. The tour will take about an hour.

Mr. Wysocki was recognized as a “Lancer for Life” by the BCHS Class of 2012. He spent his entire teaching and coaching career at Brookfield Central High School.

The Fairways of Woodside in Sussex, Wisconsin.

Enjoy a round of golf with classmates. Join us on Friday, June 28th at Fairways of Woodside in Sussex for a round of golf with friends. There are already more than 24 golfers signed up for this outing and we’re looking for more. If you want to join us, please send an email via the CONTACT US page. Simply say you’re interested and we’ll be in touch. Classmates can bring a friend, spouse or family members to play. Don’t worry if you’re coming as a single player there are a lot of other classmates doing the same. We’ll form-up foursome at the course.

The BCHS Class of 1979 Golf Outing will be held at the Fairways of Woodside on Friday, June 29, 2019. It starts at 10:00 a.m. The cost per golfer is $54. This fee includes 18-holes and a cart. If you’re interested, please send an email via the CONTACT US page on the reunion website.

The Reunion Celebration will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the corner of Mayfair and Watertown Plank Roads in Wauwatosa. It gets started at 6:30 p.m. with an offering of great entertainment, delicious food and a gallery of pictures and memorabilia from our time at Brookfield Central High School.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is offering special rates for Reunion attendees. Rooms are available on a limited basis so act fast. There’s a SpringHill Suites Hotel by Marriott across the parking lot from the Crowne Plaza. We don’t have special rates there but it’s a great location in case there are no more rooms available at the Crowne Plaza. Reach the Springhill Suites Hotel here.

Food will be served from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at stations throughout the room during the Reunion Celebration on Saturday, June 29th. A delicious selection of food for all types of tastes will be available: Mini beef Wellingtons, bacon-wrapped sea scallops, seared beef tenderloin crostini with horseradish cream, phyllo asparagus and Asiago cheese with red pepper aioli, petite crab cakes and silver dollar sandwiches of ham, turkey and roast beef will be served along with salads and desserts. It will be easy to enjoy the selection of food while you mingle among friends. At 10 p.m. a selection of pizzas will be available for everyone to enjoy.

This is a get-together of friends so wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Cost to attend the Reunion Celebration is $75 per person. Cash bar.
